You have been brought here by your own design and must work toward your own freedom. Without proper recompense, you cannot hope to find your way home. That is, if you are an inmate, as ordained by your confusion. It is then likely that you will have died in whatever place you are from. Your anger is justified I and understand if you do not know how to react. It can all be extremely overwhelming.
As I was explaining to Mr Malfoy: You are here, primaily, to recognize what you have done, to change, and to grow. Some here will call it "redemption". I hardly believe that to be a proper title for what we do given that so many inmates here are suffering from little more than misunderstanding. So few people are genuinely intolerable or evil.
This place is meant to be a guide and aid to your discovering the less flattering traits of yourself and contemplating any slights you might have committed to reconcile who you are and who you should be, according to the Admiral, into what you want to be.
I admit, there are things the others have deemed as "floods" or "ports" that are terribly diverting. I dare say that have no purpose at all except to breed remorse and contemplation. I expect it will be a little while before you are forced to face one of those, however, so I recommend you do your best to get settled for now. You should be assigned a warden in good time.
Oh. I apologize for having mistaken the situation. If you are a warden, then you can choose to leave at any time. I recommend you stay, however. There was obviously a reason that you have come and it would be a frightful disappointment to return without having achieved any sort of successes. You are meant to be an aid to the change and growth of your inmate, then. They will be assigned to you soon, I expect.
