A different era. A different time. Although I was quite irreverent and drove my guardian to distraction. She was always telling me to behave better.

But once I was out in the world, on my own, I found that most people were polite to others - even those they did not like. Times certainly have changed in a hundred years.

Snape is good at avoiding the issue. Perhaps why I'm finding him so frustrating. Even though my warden told me to get people to speak to me if they have an issue with me then in the same breath I am forbidden to go near to that particular person.
